MicroAZ™ uses a new stabilization technology that delivers significant, viable azospirillum bacteria to the root zone of grass crops including corn, milo, spring wheat, and winter wheat.
Azospirillum is a naturally occurring soil bacteria that produces a plant hormone response that:
- + stimulates germination
- + root development
- + fixes nitrogen
- + improves protein levels in grasses and some legumes

Researchers have known about Azospirillum for several years. However, early Azospirillum products weren’t stable enough to provide farmers with significant benefits. MicroAZ™’s advanced stabilization technology keeps more bacteria viable so that farmers can get more crop benefits.
